What do we need?

In light of recent growth, TSM is looking for a Social Media Manager to become an important member of our Digital Operations team.   


What will you do?

The Social Media Manager will develop social media advertising strategies, deploy social media content, campaigns, and provide analytics reporting and optimization recommendations. The role will require a holistic view of social channels and platforms as well as emerging technologies and media outlets. A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition across multiple digital channels. The ideal candidate is a content creator, marketing analyst, community manager, and a funnel marketing manager with a track record of engagement and acquisition growth for heavily active brands on social media.

More specifically, the candidate chosen for this role...

  • Builds and manages agency clients’ paid, owned and earned social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest and potentially additional channels (Snapchat, Instagram, Vine, etc.)
  • Drives engagement and leads across the marketing funnel through relevant content and channel management and establish consistency and excellence across the social media platform
  • Coordinating and managing all go-to-market aspects of paid social media campaigns  including annual strategic planning and the editorial calendar
  • Applies and oversees the implementation of best practices for each platform while initiating targeting strategies based on demographics and marketing goals
  • Writes copy and distributes media as dictated by different content strategies
  • Identifies, recommends and utilizes content curation tools for content planning and publishing process
  • Use content curation strategically for acquisition of leads and to inform the creation of original content
  • Determines fiscal year and project specific budget requirements with projected results, for client digital & social marketing strategies
  • Run and track success of regular social promotions and campaigns , as well as the content and links posted through multiple channels
  • Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI and establish regular reporting for KPI metrics tied to client proforma(s)
  • Analyzes cross channel traffic and attribution
  • Researches the latest digital trends and utilize new technologies to drive stronger results
  • Proactively spearheads efforts to overcome client objections and technological limitations
  • Works with internal cross-functional teams to develop integrated approaches to campaigns as part of our clients’ proforma
  • Works with Digital Project Manager to ensure accurate billing of all paid digital media as well as retainers in assigned areas

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Digital Media, Marketing, or Communications
  • 2-4 years experience paid social experience and self-service marketing in social platforms ( i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms)
  • Experience with digital advertising, nonprofit online marketing and fundraising programs 
  • Experience with: Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Hootesuite, Radian6, Google Analytics & Tag Manager, Coremetrics, Omniture, Convio/Blackbaud
  • Up to 25% travel to client offices
