What do we need?

TSM is looking for a HR Business Partner to become an important member of our team working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Human Resources.

The TrueSense Business Partner . . .

  • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Evaluates those reports and recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Plans, organizes and participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Regularly analyzes compensation and collaborates with CFO to implement and annually update compensation programs.
  • Maintains and rewrites job descriptions as necessary.
  • Develops and maintains the overall performance management system for the company and revises it as necessary. This also includes performance management training for new as well as existing managers.
  • Identifies training needs within the company then develops, organizes, and evaluates training programs.
  • Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on those policies and procedures.
  • Oversees change reporting and collaborates with Payroll & Benefits Administrator to ensure those changes are appropriately implemented across all HR systems.
  • Maintains financial balance across HR systems by approving invoices for payment and annually re-evaluating policies for cost-effectiveness.
  • Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, interns, and temporary employees; writes and places online advertisements; conducts targeted recruiting efforts as needed such as LinkedIn correspondence, etc…
  • Conducts new-employee orientations and oversees the onboarding process which includes but is not limited to: IT coordination, payroll setup, Concur registration, etc…
  • Monitors career-pathing for existing employees and regularly conducts “Stay Interviews” to gauge current employee engagement.
  • Conducts employee relations counseling and handles all disciplinary action for TrueSense Marketing.
  • Oversees the offboarding process for all exiting employees which includes but is not limited to: outplacement counseling, exit interviewing, and all administrative tasks.
  • Acts as an active member of the TrueSense Marketing leadership team; participates in administrative staff meetings; attends seminars and networking events as needed.
  • Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.
  • Conducts quarterly one on one manager touch-base meetings.
  • Oversees Employee Engagement Team by reviewing annual plans, keeping track of accounting costs, and ensuring that all events meet appropriate HR standards.

Position Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Computer Proficiency - Strong computer skills including all Microsoft products (Outlook; Excel; Word; PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn Job Specific Programs as Applicable: Jazz, TalentWise, etc.

Education and Exerience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Five years’ human resource experience, or nine years’ experience in the HR field.

* This position requires working full-time at our Warrendale, PA office.
